She's One!

I can't believe our baby is already one year old! Time sure does fly.

When she woke up, she kept squealing and "uh"-ing at the decorations and balloons waiting for her.




She loved her water table from Nanny and Papa.





Aunt Bess, Uncle Jacob, Aunt Mara and Pat McEwen came over for a low key birthday celebration with pizza, presents...




...and of course, CAKE!



She was really excited about everyone singing happy birthday and blowing out the candle...so it was repeated a few times....






Based on all of her reactions, I would say she had a pretty fabulous day.



Happy Birthday FifiJo! We love you SO much and can't wait to see what this next year brings!!

Finally!!!

After over nine months of speculation, Fiona finally cut her first tooth. Front left, for the record...and thankfully many others look like they're on the way too.

She's going to start looking so different. :(

Scituate!

Fiona and I took a quick trip to visit Nanny in Scituate while she was still stuck in her wheel chair. It was a wonderful visit (albeit VERY fast) and made me very excited to go back with everyone in July.

But it was very nice for Fifi to get some alone time with her Nanny...and of course, Papa, Joe, Becca and her little buddy Leah. It'll be fun to see if Fi recognizes Nanny and Papa's house when we go back in a few weeks! (I have a feeling her most vivid memory might be Leah's car...)

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized I didn't take any pictures with Nanny...sorry!!

Another one...

It's crazy. She seriously just took off this week. Someone asked how many steps she's taken in a row, and I realized I'd never counted. Earlier today I stopped at 40...not because she stopped walking, but it just seemed a little ridiculous.

So after six months of cruising, look what our baby finally does!!!!

They were both too cute, we couldn't decide.

Getting Behind

I should have just written this post and added pictures later (since I forgot my camera) but I wasn't that smart last month. Needless to say, now I am one trip behind. Oh well.

Anyway, Fiona and I took a last minute trip to Minneapolis. I'd been wanting to go visit my mom for awhile. Then I found out my grandma was throwing together a baby shower for Sarah--which I'd also been trying to figure out but feeling really bad that nothing was going to work. Lucky for me, flights were super open and it was an easy trip!

We had a great time! Fiona was very excited to see another little person and kept trying to give Audrey kisses.

And, of course, Fiona was very happy to be entertained by Gram Gram the whole trip.



Seven months!! Can't wait to meet little baby Jablonski!




And as an added bonus, Fiona was an angel for all but a combined four hours the whole trip.
