Bedhead

Fiona woke up from her nap this afternoon with some fabulous bed-head.

As usual, the pictures don't do it justice, so I kept trying. After a while she got kind of sick of it.

It's much nicer when she wakes up from naps being very sweet than waking up like I do. But I guess I have only myself to blame with so many flashes.

But she got over it very quickly...without caffeine.

I need some pointers.

She's got a passport!!

Jon has really been loving his new position at American lately, doing cool video shoots, editing footage, etc. So I got really excited the other day when he said he "needs" to go to Jamaica this coming weekend for work...and Fiona and I could come along for the trip! Until I remembered Fiona and I are supposed to be leaving for Kansas City for Sarah and Jim's wedding the day after we get back. But how can you pass on Jamaica? When you know Jon's got a room booked at the Ritz? So after mulling it over, I decided two plane rides are better than being husband-less/father-less for 6 days...and I guess there are some other perks too. :)

So after getting really excited about going, Jon reminds me a couple days later that Jamaica is, in fact, another country...and Fiona needs a passport! So after jumping through hoops, she's an official passport-holding citizen. I was going to post a picture, but thought having all of her passport information floating around on the world wide web might not be the best idea. But here's the picture she used.

Jamaica, here we come!!!

Munchichi

I've noticed Fiona making this face more and more frequently. At first I thought it signified concentrating really hard. But with the increase of drool, constant hands in mouth, and success of Orajel, I'm sad to say I think it's a teething face. How do babies grow so stinking fast?!

Spaceship Peach

So the other day I overhear Jon talking to Fiona in the other room saying, "It's your spaceship! Spaceship Peach!" Curiously, I peak in to see her propped up like this.

I'm so thankful for Jon's imagination, and I'm sure Fiona will be too. So much more exciting than, "Look, you're propped up on your Boppy pillow!" Let's hope that at least in that respect she takes after her dad.

Hmmm...

Hoping this isn't indicative of things to come. But she has had a rough week and seems to be on a sleep strike...

Three Months

Can't believe how fast the time has flown.

One month:

Two months:

Is it just me, or is she getting whiter? At least she still has her hair...

Finding her voice

Fiona's been making quiet baby noises here and there for a while now, but lately she's gotten super chatty. (Sorry, sometimes I don't remember until mid-video that you can't flip them like pictures.)

Also, I think she realized this week that she can control how loud she is. Given who her parents are, I don't think we're going to need a baby monitor in our house for much longer...

I'm a little video-happy lately, but in my opinion there can never be enough. :)
