How cool is this?

Even though Fiona will be stuck in this for the next few weeks,

she can still do this...and swim in it too!!

I'm still surprised they have yet to invent a waterproof cast.

Also, despite my feelings for the iPad, it sure comes in handy when you have fussy babies.  Jon (and Evie) spends lots of time doing this.

For some reason whenever I try to do it, she wakes up...

Two Months

Is this kid growing up too fast or what?!

Slack

Usually I feel guilty when it goes this long between posts, but I'm going to cut myself some slack on not posting much lately.  In the past month, Evie's been to the doctor 9 times for an ear infection and her "goopy" eye.  Fiona got some version of the Coxackie virus and hurt her foot--or so we thought--and went around for 3 days with an undiagnosed broken leg.  My upper body strength should be super-human by the time her cast comes off.

On the bright side, we bought a house (hopefully!), but it needs LOTS of work.  Getting everything in order there has been awfully time consuming as well.  Of course, just because I think things are going to slow down some for the next month or so doesn't mean they will, but I sure would like to be more consistent here.  Maybe I can commit to a quick nothing post a day--those are my favorites anyway.

Fiona's Speech

Fiona started talking well very early.  This little parrot will repeat ANYTHING.  Seriously.  Be careful what you say...or, as I've learned the hard way, what music you listen to in the car.

One month already?!

Oh. My. Goodness.

I cannot get over how much faster time is going this time around...BabyEvie (which is one word in this house now, thanks to Fiona) is already one month old!  If it keeps getting this much faster with every kid, I think I might just have to call it quits after this.  Just kidding.  But seriously, does it?  Because that's scary.

Baptized

Evie was welcomed into the Church Sunday, March 20th!  We had a great weekend of celebration with lots of visitors, lots of food, and lots of time spent outside.  God bless Texas in March!!

I finally got a picture of Nanny with Evie.

Lili couldn't get enough of the baby.

Leah and Fiona were endlessly entertained.

Fiona was SO happy when Papa finally arrived...she'd been talking about it for weeks.

All this time spent outside reminded me how nice it would be to have a house--with an actual yard.  Thanks to everyone for putting up with our limited space.

There was lots of time spent doting on the wee babe.

I didn't quite capture it, but Evie smiled for the first time that weekend too.  She must have known what was coming.

The Godmother with her Goddaughter.

Unfortunately Luke, the Godfather, couldn't make it, but Joe did a great job standing in.  Thanks everyone for celebrating with us!!!
