Happy Birthday, Atticus!

Ok, here we go.  After a nine-month hiatus, I'm going to try to start again.  There may be some back-blogging happening over the next month or so, but maybe not.  For now I'll just pretend we're only going forward.  What better occasion to return than this sweet little (or not so little!) guy's birthday!

We'd been wanting to have a party, and what better excuse than this dude's birthday?!

Prepping was lots of fun.

And he was a fan.

The poor guy was ready for bed before the party really got going, but now that we own a party starter, I'm sure he'll have many nights of this in his future. 

At least all the other kids got to enjoy it!

All in all, it was a great party.  But we still had to celebrate the little man's ACTUAL birthday.  And by then he'd gotten the hang of the whole cake thing--mostly.

We love you, sweet Atticus!  You're such a happy, smiley boy!
